Welcome to my World !

My name is Mily Cooper and I am a photographer, specialized in Maternity, Newborn, Babies,

Children and Family fine art portraiture.

I have been working as a professional photographer since 2013 and I feel very blessed to be able to make a living doing something I love so much. We have been 10+ years in business, photographing over 800 newborn babies and over 550 pregnant moms, what a blessing !

My style is classic and timeless. My newborn props have a vintage touch. I am always looking for tiny treasures with texture and detail that I can incorporate in my images.

For our Maternity clients, we offer a closet with over 100 gowns curated with love so everyone can find something beautiful to wear and leave that aspect of the session stress free.

My studio is located in Woodland Hills, but I serve the greater Los Angeles and Ventura Counties.

I love the outdoors and you can also find me any day shooting in the beautiful mountains of Southern California. It's just gorgeous here !

The most important thing for me is providing my clients with an amazing and safe experience.

I've been trained in person by the best newborn and maternity photographers in the world on newborn

posing, angles, light, composition and of course baby safety: Luisa Dunn, Kelly Brown, Elise Gow,

Marta Ponsko, Diana Robles, etc. A big priority for me is to keep pushing myself all the time

and I continue to invest in my education every year.

I've been part of Portrait Masters and several other professional photography conventions.

Learning never ends for me and I am constantly looking for new challenges, learning new techniques

and being up to date with the latest trends.

Custom photography is an investment, that's for sure.

But life goes by very fast and before you know it, your newborn baby will be giggling, getting teeth,

crawling, walking, running...

I booked Mily back in August for a maternity session. She came to my house to photograph the milk bath and then we had another session where she took shots of my husband and me at Orcutt Ranch.

Throughout the whole experience she was very kind and accommodating!

For the milk bath, she brought a couple lacey dresses for me to wear, but I already had my own, that I used. It took very little time to set up and prep the bath + flowers and her equipment in the bathroom. We were in and out within an hour. I've had photographer experiences in the past where idk how to pose, yet she always had suggestions so I wouldn't just be looking lost the whole time.

When we continued the shoot with my husband at Orcutt Ranch she provided a bunch of gorgeous flowy dresses and cool flower crowns for me to wear. And directed how we should pose. Should've had her shoot my engagement photos a few years ago!

She said I'll be able to pick out the photos in a digital gallery within 10 business days yet I'm confident that they'll look great. I had a sneak peak of the ones with the milk bath already, so I'm pretty excited.

And throughout the whole experience, she maintained social distancing, only getting close enough to fix my hair or help me into dresses. Plus she wore a mask the entire time. Covid-safe choice for photography.

Mily is Truly AMAZING!!! This woman is honestly the most talented photographer I have ever worked with! Very sweet and good energy. We absolutely loved our maternity session. Outside but still private. We put ourselves in her hands and she delivered. It was so hard to choose. Such amazing photos.

We went with the full package. Which will include a canvas which we can't wait to receive and as stressful as it can be being sleep deprived the end result was worth it. Totally beats out taking photos at hospital. It takes a lot of work to tease those photos out of an infant. You just have to go with it and she is experienced to know what to do.
