There is nothing more fun than celebrating your baby's first year with a cake smash...

During a cake smash, the birthday child is presented with a small cake and encouraged to explore, play with, and ultimately smash the cake to his/her heart's content. I will be taking pictures during this time, to document not only the child's first birthday but also his/her personality, expressions, and interactions with their surroundings.

It is so much fun being able to see your baby's first reaction to a colorful cake. His/her first try of that sweet thing... will the cake taste delicious? ... Would it be the best thing ever or strange or too sticky and gooey?... It's always a sweet surprise. A cake smash provides an opportunity for children to express their personality and individuality in a unique and uninhibited way. Whether they dive headfirst into the cake, tentatively explore it with their fingers, or approach it with cautious curiosity, your baby's actions during the cake smash session often reveal aspects of his/her emerging personality and preferences.
