My name is Mily Cooper and I will be your photographer. I work with my lovely assistant Dora.
Together we will do our best to make you feel wonderful, gorgeous and comfortable. This is your special day !!!
My studio is located in Woodland Hills, in a private area of my home. It is a wonderful space to relax and get to know each other while looking at gowns and getting you ready for this amazing experience !!!
Planning your Session
Bookings
To inquire or book your session, please e-mail me at milycooper.photography@yahoo.com or text me at 310-916-7145.
Give me your full name, due date and some info about your session (package of choice, studio/outdoors, etc.) I will get back to you within 48 hours.
A deposit of $300 (via Venmo or Zelle) is required to book your session.
The balance must be paid on your session date.
Please take a moment to go over all the information provided here. It is very important that you understand our policies.
When should I do my session ?
- I recommend doing your maternity pictures from 28 - 34 weeks pregnant. Sometimes we go beyond that timeframe, but it depends on the client.
What will I wear?
- You don't have to worry about what to wear. I have a wonderful collection of beautiful maternity gowns in multiple colors, styles and sizes, bodysuits, silky fabrics, angel wings as well as accessories like flower crowns and head pieces and they are available at no extra charge. You can see them here.

Upon booking, I will get in touch with you to discuss my photography style, your preferences, perfect location, wardrobe choices and colors that best photograph in the location of choice. Together we will make your session something super special.

Wardrobe
What should I wear?
Maternity gowns in multiple colors and styles and accessories are available upon request at no extra charge (as specified in your package). You can see my gowns here
What should your husband wear?
It will depend on the gowns/looks you select but generally we have men bring a nice pair of dark jeans, a white long sleeve shirt, plain, no designs
Moms, make sure your husband's clothes have all been packed, make sure they are ironed or just came from the dry cleaners.
Professional Hair & Make Up
I highly recommend that you do your hair and make up so you feel absolutely pampered and fantastic on your special day. Here is a list of hair/make up artists that I recommend.
Hair and Make up are not allowed at my studio due to insurance policy, it is very important that you come to the photoshoot ready with hair and make up and arrive on time.
Please note our studio is booked all day so be mindful of the timeframe.

what to expect of a maternity session
What is a look? *
A look is a gown or a nude or a silhouette with a fabric.
Additional looks within your session are $100 each and do not include additional digitals.
If you want more looks during your session, I recommend upgrading to the next package.
Nudes & Silhouettes
Let me know if you want to do any and if you prefer them with a dark / dramatic feel or white / light and aery feel.
Remember, wings, silhouettes and fabric count as a look as well.
Important Policies
- Our studio is opened Monday to Friday from 10 am to 5pm.
We do not work on weekends.
- Please be aware that I cannot book your photography session date until a deposit of $250 is received. The remaining due amount must be paid on the day of the shoot.
- If the client decides to cancel session for any reason the deposit will not be refunded. The $250 deposit fee can be used towards another photoshoot within 10 months if canceled 7 days in advance.
- In the event that the client needs to reschedule the session, he/she must do so at least 72 hours prior to start of session via email. Rescheduling with less than 72 hours notice will cause client to forfeit original deposit.
- Forms of Payment: Zelle, Venmo, Cash, Check.
- Pricing is non-negotiable.
- Prices are subject to change at any time. Pricing is honored for 30 days. CA Law requires our studio to charge 9.5% Sales Tax on all tangible products and packages.
Editing Policies
- Basic editing is included in your price (skin smoothing, flyaways, belly stretch marks, teeth and eyes whitening, light sliming, etc.)
- There will be an additional fee of $25 per picture, for special editing such as body contouring, tattoos removal, excessive acne, head swapping, digital composites, etc.
- When you receive your proofs, please let me know if you want me to do any of the above.
Outdoor / On location Sessions
- Traveling fees apply for locations beyond 15 miles of Woodland Hills. I only travel up to 40 miles of Woodland Hills.
- The customer will be responsible for any fees required by a location of his choice (parking, entrance, etc.)
- Beach Sessions +$150. Beaches we shoot at have easy access for our pregnant moms.
- Sessions in your home, yes, we can do them. There is a $399 fee for bringing gowns, backdrops and studio set up to you.
- All session fees, deposit and product orders are non-refundable.
After the Session
Online Gallery Delivery
- Approximately 2 weeks after your photo session, you will receive a link to a private photo gallery and a password, to view your digital images. Your private gallery will be displayed here.
- You have 6 months to pick photos for editing from the day of the shoot. I keep photos in my system for 1 year and delete them after. If you did not pick or download your photos, I will not have them after 12 months.
Digital images
- Most of my session packages include a predefined number of high resolution digital images, which are individually retouched.
- Additional digital images are $35 for one and $150 for 5.

Prints and other products
- Prints are NOT included with any of these packages, unless specifically mentioned.
- It gives me great pride when you display my art in your walls. To encourage you to do so, the prices for my professional prints start at only $25 for and 8x10 and $35 for an 11x14.
- I also offer ready to hang gallery canvas and board mounted prints of incredible quality.
